DCI's Carolina Crown Helps Riverside Marching Band

The Riverside Marching Pirates are going to be the recipient of new marching band shoes from DCI's Carolina Crown as part of the CrownCARES Initiative aims to provide shoes for marching band programs in need of financial support! We will be accepting the gift on Sunday, July 31st at NightBEAT held in Winston Salem, NC at BB&T Field on the campus of Wake Forest University in front of a  large crowd of spectators and the top 8 drum & bugle corps in the world. The show will also feature "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. Katie Basden, a graduate of Riverside HS who was recently on the TV show "The Voice", is also performing at the pre-show to the event.
